澳大利亚电影演员“最性感男人”休·杰克曼 (Hugh Jackman) 凭借电影《X战警》成为影坛超级巨星和帅酷型男的代表。在美国畅销杂志《People》的评选中，休·杰克曼荣膺“全球最性感男士”称号；2000年到2004年间，休·杰克曼就已经入选《People》杂志的“世界最美五十人”。 　　休·杰克曼1968年出生于悉尼，是家里5个孩子中最小的一个。毕业于悉尼科技大学新闻系，后又在西澳演艺学院学习喜剧。1994年结束了学业，他得到电视剧《科瑞丽》中的一个饰演监狱心理学家的角色。1998年《日落大道》这部名剧让休·杰克曼红遍全国，并得了无数奖，有“澳洲最佳歌剧演员”的头衔。尤其当时女主角辞演事件差点使这部舞台公演作不下去，休·杰克曼仍坚守岗位直到新的女主角人选来接演。也使导演后来带他到英国伦敦发展，于99年推出美国名歌剧《奥克拉荷马》，休·杰克曼因此走红英国并入围英国“奥利佛奖”年度最佳歌剧演员。 　　《X战警》中的金钢狼就有着加里·格兰特般的迷人气质。杰克曼与同片演员安娜·帕奎恩一起试镜，他还必须经过福斯高层电影公司鲁珀特·莫多克的认可，福克斯高层很担心让这个角色给一个在美国完全没有名气的人演出，这时杰克曼开玩笑说：他甚至不是导演名单中的第二候选人。《X战警》在2000年夏天造成大轰动，也将杰克曼推向超级巨星的最顶端。他谦虚地说：这部电影拍的很好。更重要的是影迷们接受它。除了出演《X战警》系列，休·杰克曼还出演了魔幻题材的《范海辛》(2004)、伍迪·艾伦导演的喜剧片《独家新闻》(2006)，他在克里斯托弗·诺兰的《致命魔术》(2006)中与克里斯蒂安·贝尔飚戏，在达伦·阿罗诺夫斯基的《珍爱泉源》(2006)中与瑞切尔·薇兹 (Rachel Weisz) 爱得痴狂，又在《旅行者》(2008)中化身神秘男子……2008年，休·杰克曼 (Hugh Jackman) 与老乡妮可·基德曼 (Nicole Kidman) 携手在《澳大利亚》谈情说爱。之后变身奥斯卡颁奖典礼主持人在柯达剧院又蹦又跳，风光无限。2009年，他又变回骁勇无敌的《金刚狼》，尽情地释放着雄性魅力。 　　休·杰克曼 (Hugh Jackman) 有着扎实的演出经验，和电视演出的背景，声音像梅尔·吉布森，长得像年轻版的克林特·伊斯特伍德。业余时间，休·杰克曼会弹弹钢琴和吉他，打打高尔夫或者去风帆冲浪，他最喜欢的食物是寿司。
