Raphë is a queer shapeshifting artist, producer, and visual storyteller, working primarily in the fields of performance, living sculpture, video art, and collective events.
Their practice intertwines buffoonery, flamboyant simulacrum, and the poetry of disaster, shaping and embodying hybrid creatures; liminal figures endowed with their own gestural language emerging through handcrafted costumery.
Presented in marginal spaces; wastelands, abandoned sites, and environments perceived as hostile, as well as within collective gatherings rooted in subcultures, Raphë’s work navigates the tension between the institutional and the informal.
