1961年5月13日出生于美国新泽西州的Trenton，是前美国职业篮球联赛运动员，绰号是“Dennis the Menace”和“大虫（The Worm）”，他以强悍的防守风格及卓越的篮板能力闻名，有“篮板王”的美誉。曾效力过底特律活塞队，圣安东尼奥马刺队，芝加哥公牛队，洛杉矶湖人队及达拉斯小牛队。 　　1993年被交换到圣安东尼奥马刺队。他的职业生涯高峰期是加入芝加哥公牛队后，和队友迈克尔·乔丹及斯科蒂·皮蓬，为公牛王朝在1996年至1998年创造出NBA总冠军的三连冠，并在2011年加入NBA名人堂。 　　他的单场篮板数据92年-98年连续七年领跑全联盟，共赢得五枚总冠军戒指（1989, 1990, 1996, 1997, 1998）。NBA在他的档案中记录道“他是NBA历史上毫无争议的最佳大前锋篮板王”。 　　2012年3月，由于拖欠赡养费，他被前妻米歇尔·罗德曼告上法庭。2013年11月25日，美国杂志《GQ》选出2013年25位“最没影响力名人”，52岁的罗德曼2013年两度走访朝鲜，并与金三胖一同观看球赛、到小岛度假。罗德曼还声称，朝鲜被妖魔化没有外界想象的那么糟糕。（我鄙视一下他。。。。。。。） 　　罗德曼还在97年的电影《忘年之交 B*A*P*S》、尚格云顿的《双重火力 Double Team》里都有出镜。 　　不知道多少人还记得，97年的电影《黑衣人》第一部里，片尾，威尔史密斯说公牛队的某个人是外星人。我不记得当时说的是谁了。这一集的播出时间也是97年，两部片子谁是谁的灵感来源呀？
