金·凯瑞（Jim Carrey），1962年1月17日出生于加拿大安大略省纽马克特，加拿大裔美籍演员、编剧、制作人。金·凯瑞是家中四个孩子中最小的一个。父亲是个会计，却热衷于音乐、表演，经常演奏萨克斯和从事喜剧表演。金·凯瑞从小就喜欢表演，并立志将来当个演员。上小学时，他就经常在教室里搞些小表演。金·凯瑞还常常模仿各种夸张的姿势和面部表情来逗身体不好的母亲开心。金·凯瑞13岁时，父亲经商失利而破产，一家人只能在贫困线上挣扎，靠打杂工糊口，金只能放弃读书而帮助家庭维持生活。15岁时他在父亲的帮助下，在多伦多一家喜剧俱乐部表演，后来来到洛杉矶参加了“滑稽商店”的演出。 1981年，金·凯瑞成为一个可以独自制作节目的喜剧演员，以模仿名人而小有名气。1983年，出演NBC的系列剧《鸭子工厂》。1986年，金·凯瑞放弃了在电视上的努力和发展，开始涉足影坛。1990年，出演喜剧节目《生动的颜色》。1994年，主演喜剧片《神探飞机头》。1998年，凭借剧情片《楚门的世界》获得美国电影金球奖最佳男演员奖。1999年，凭借传记片《月亮上的男人》获得美国电影金球奖喜剧片/音乐片最佳男主角奖。2003年，凭借喜剧片《冒牌天神》获得第5届青少年选择奖最佳喜剧电影男演员。2005年，主演犯罪喜剧片《新抢钱夫妻》。2007年，凭借恐怖悬疑片《灵数23》获得第9届青少年选择奖最佳恐怖/悬疑电影男演员 [9] 。2008年，凭借爱情片《好好先生》获得第18届MTV电影奖最佳喜剧表演。2014年，主演喜剧片《阿呆与阿瓜2》。2015年，主演惊悚恐怖片《次货》。
