比尔·帕克斯顿

比尔·帕克斯顿出生于得克萨斯州的沃思堡。18岁那年，帕克斯顿来到洛杉矶寻找发展机会，不久在罗杰·考曼的新世界电影公司找到一个片场布景员的工作。1975年，比尔·帕克斯顿在乔纳森·戴米执导的《疯狂妈妈》中，第一次以不起眼的配角身份参加电影拍摄。不久，他到了纽约，在纽约大学跟斯特拉·阿德勒学习表演。在影片《条纹》(Stripes)中出演了一个小角色后，他在低成本影视界找到了比较稳定的工作。除了演出外，他也尝试当过导演、编写剧本、担任制片人。他出品的电影短片《鱼头》在《周六夜现场秀》栏目播出后，获得过电影奖。
