Dara Jade Moats is a Yukon-based filmmaker, writer, and film programmer whose work has screened at festivals across Canada and internationally. Her short films have received multiple awards, including Best Short Film and Best Blood Bath. She has held key industry roles such as Associate Producer at the National Film Board of Canada and Director of Hospitality at the Fantasia International Film Festival.
Dara contributes to programming and industry initiatives for festivals including SXSW, the Saskatoon Fantastic Film Festival, Blood in the Snow Film Festival, Calgary Underground Film Festival, Cucalorus Film Festival, and the Available Light Film Festival. She continues to develop new film projects while supporting the growth and visibility of emerging and established voices in Canadian and international filmmaking.
